What we collect
When you sign in, Meander receives your Google account email address and display name to create and secure your account. When you create artwork, you may provide a route file, route screenshot, location label, time of day, and music context. Route files and screenshots can contain precise location information.
How creation inputs are handled
Route files and screenshots are processed to make one artwork. They are not retained as files in your account after processing. Meander stores the finished PNG/SVG artwork and abstract creation metadata such as title, palette, movement metrics, and engine version so you can access your library.
Sharing and public work
Every artwork starts private. You may create a link-only share or publish work to the public gallery. A share link exposes the finished artwork and limited display metadata, never the original upload. You can make an artwork private again to revoke its Meander link, though copies already downloaded or reposted by others cannot be recalled.
Service providers
Meander uses Google for sign-in, Vercel to deliver the web app, Google Cloud Run for the API and engine, Neon for account and artwork records, and Cloudflare R2 for stored artwork files. These providers process data only to operate Meander’s service.
Your choices
You can delete individual artworks in your library, control each artwork’s visibility, sign out, or permanently delete your account from Account controls. Account deletion removes account records, sessions, finished artworks, and stored artwork files.
